If you are seeking pregnancy care and afraid to make an appointment, we want to assure you we are a safe, confidential place, regardless of your immigration status. You are not required to disclose your status to receive care, and insurance is never required.
Your privacy is our priority. We will never share your information without your consent. You deserve compassionate, respectful care in a space where your health and well-being come first.
Here’s what you can expect when contacting one of our nurses or visiting Reach Reproductive Health.
I’m undocumented and pregnant, can I access healthcare?
1. What you share with us is always private.
When visiting our clinic, you can share as much information as you want without fear of shame or judgment.
If you are undocumented, it might feel intimidating reaching out for help. However, we believe every woman deserves access to safe, confidential support at no-cost, regardless of her immigration status. You will never feel pressure to share any information if you are not comfortable disclosing this.
2. We never require insurance at our clinic.
We never require insurance for appointments or services. Plus, our services never cost anything. We just want you to have the information you need for your next step. You deserve quality care without the worry of whether you have insurance or how you will pay for your visit.
At your appointment, you will need to bring photo identification. This is only for the purpose of making sure we don’t mix up your medical records with someone else’s.
3. All of our services and appointments are 100% confidential and 100% no-cost.
We never reveal our clients’ information, no matter their immigrant status, age, or any other factors, without their permission to do so. Your situation, medical history, and pregnancy decisions are 100% confidential with us.
Please note that in certain cases, such as suspected abuse or sex trafficking, we are legally required to report. We are committed to protecting our clients’ privacy and are not required to report immigration status to authorities.
Because we believe every woman deserves quality pregnancy care, all our services are completely free. You will never have to pay a penny at our clinics. We provide a wide variety of services at no cost like:
- Pre-Abortion Screening
- Medical Grade Pregnancy Testing
- Limited OB Ultrasounds
- STI Testing and Treatment
- Pregnancy Options and Resource Education
If you are considering abortion, we encourage you to look at our Abortion Assessment. This assessment helps you create a checklist of important steps to take before making a pregnancy decision. Our pre-abortion screening can help you understand the status of your pregnancy and what options are safest for you.
4. We have Spanish-speaking staff who can help you.
If you are Spanish-speaking, you deserve to receive care and explore your options without the language barrier. We have Spanish speaking professionals on staff who can help you in your unique situation.
You never have to try to navigate this alone. You can speak to one of our licensed nurses today by texting or calling 314-501-7895.
5. We can help connect you with organizations who can help.
You have rights. Whatever your situation, we can help. If you need to find more support for things like housing, employment, social services, finances, or legal assistance, we can connect you with professionals in our community who can help. As always, we will never connect you with them without your permission.
